The London Evening Standard opened the article with the title “Will snackers be won round by oblong Jaffa Cake?”, whilst the Daily Mail believes the oblong Jaffa Cakes could be the “shape of things to come.”
On social media the oblong Jaffa Cake has been getting a mixed response, with those who tried it talking about how great it tasted, whilst others just can’t get their head around a Jaffa Cake not being circular. Our message to the doubters is: Don’t knock it until you try it!
This could lead to a momentous battle between oblong and round Jaffa Cakes, who will win? If it was down to taste there would only be one winner, but we will see!
