Following the oblongeer’s outing at the Reading Festival, a common question was asked by the public – “Is this some sort of cult?”
In response to this common question we would like to reassure the oblong followers that ‘The Future is Oblong’ is not a cult.
Although we do believe in the power of the mighty oblong, we DO NOTworship it every night and bow before its greatness, whilst repeating inane chants round a statue of the oblong.
We believe that the future is oblong and know that something big and oblong-related will happen, but we do not treat the shape as some sort of religious prophet.
So, to anyone that was sceptical of the saying, fear not because this is not a cult.
