After enormous success at the Trafford Centre and thecentre:mk, the oblong Jaffa Cake tour will have its final event this weekend (3rd and 4th October) at Europe’s leading retail and leisure destination Bluewater.
Our intrepid oblongeers will, once again, be offering free samples of the Bahlsen Messinos, otherwise known as the oblong Jaffa Cakes, to the general public.
Based on the previous sampling events, a whopping 85 per cent preferred the taste of the Messino compared to its round counterpart, with these results set to continue this weekend at Bluewater.
The Messino has already conquered the North-West and Centre of England, and is now set to make residents of the South-East realise that the future of the Jaffa Cake is oblong!
As the tour winds down, it’s becoming clear that people are turning a corner and embracing the oblong Jaffa Cake! With our mission to promote all things oblong nearing completion.
